We are thrilled to announce the date for 2023’s Take Back the Night (TBTN) in Belleville! TBTN will be hosted at Market Square in downtown Belleville on Thursday, September 28 at 6:00pm. We can’t wait to gather again with community for this important event!

TBTN happens in Belleville and around the world every year with the goal to end sexual violence. It aims to bring awareness to the ways sexual violence and rape culture permeate our lives and to build strength and solidarity in the movement toward safety, support, and healing.

This year, we will be having a rally, march, and vigil. Stay tuned for more details and come take back the night with us!

The Take Back the Night Committee is represented by the Community Advocacy & Legal Centre, Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Response Program (DVSARP), Hastings and Prince Edward Occasional Teacher’s Local, Trenton Military Family Resource Centre, Mohawk Family Services, Red Cedars Shelter, Sexual Assault Centre for Quinte and District, and Three Oaks Foundation.

Follow along and commit to taking back the night with us this September by RSVPing at the Facebook Event here!
